Weapons
Weapons what are your uses?
You are too frightened to
Work by yourselves
You need to manipulate man in order
For you to seem significant
Why?
You like to see people suffer because of
Your function
Weapons what are your uses?
Weapons, you like to e honored as machinery to protect
You are misleading man
You have another purpose, another vindictive scheme
You like to see sadness
Weapons you are dangerous
Weapons what is your true use?
What is your true identity?
Why are people misguided by you?
Are you just that good at hiding your true nature?
Maybe...
I like this poem because you are speaking to an object as if it is a person. This is probably things that people are thinking in everyday life about weapons. The line "You like to see people suffer because of your function" is so true. The use of a weapon always causes suffering or sadness one way or the other. Love the poem.
ReplyDeleteThis poem is actually very different from others and I actually like it. I like the comparison of weapons and how it harms people. Its very descriptive and helps me picture the exact scenario you are trying to portray.
