Complete Destruction

It was an Icy Day

the Earth stood still

with the warmth of a

smile

The woman in search

for her needle and thread

The replica of a child

can only be visualized

The heart as cold

as day.

  1. That's an interesting line... " It was an Icy Day the Earth stood still with the warmth of a smile" It's an oxymoron, no? What were you trying to describe or exemplify.

  2. Hey Annamebellone :),
The whole poem is about a woman who expresses such love and affection to all of those around her... yet her intentions are the complete opposite..She isn't what she seems. I tried to express that with "the Icy day and the warmth of her smile" She may have warm smile but she really is cold as ice.I tried to use alot of emotion in this poem. thank you for reading it! =]
